Well, the November activity check is now over, and we're now down to 14 members. I dunno what happened to some of the staff, but we should be fine with the 4 of us--Ama, Ria, Carn and myself. As for those who are missing.. well, hopefully nothing has happened to them. On a happier note, it is, of course, December. All the holidays are starting up, so I can understand why the activity may be going down. But I must say, it's on the rise. I'm thinking of a monthly activity check.. or at least one every two months. The next one will probably be after the holidays. Anyway... I also added the 'Open Threads' thing. I'm hoping it will be helpful for newer members. Here's the link: Open Threads. And Ria also gave the idea of having a board for the borders of the pack lands. It'll probably make things easier for newer members, so I'll have to get on that.

Another monthly update. The recent recession in activity is quite concerning, so.. we're basically starting over.. again.. I'm getting pretty tired of this, but.. *shrug* I dunno what to do with the inactive accounts... Guess we'll just have to wait till the end of the month to delete them in another activity check.. I'll be moving all the threads into the archives... I have deleted the affiliates who have deleted our banner and am advertising again. I dunno what happened to our former staff, but.. I'd like to welcome Ria (AKA Raksha) to the staff team. She's the only one that's still here and is actually helping, so thank you Ria. And any guests reading this.. we welcome you as well. Anyway.. That is pretty much all I have to say. Also, November is a month of remembrance and thanksgiving, so.. just keep that in mind.

Hi. Zylem here with your monthly update. *Shifts eyes* Sorry, just had to say that. Anyway... All inactive accounts have been deleted. All inactive threads have been moved. And I will soon create a Pre-Made character board... I've noticed the recent decline in activity... Especially for those who are supposed to be staff. I understand you have lives and all, but I would rather you at least tell me that you're going to be gone... and maybe that the staff position isn't right for you. New members - please join another thread or organize it so you and another member will have a thread together. I've seen it too many times when a promising member joins, then leaves because no one has replied to their thread. So, just to avoid that, please join another thread. If you're wondering what thread to join, ask in the cbox and someone will surely help you. OH, and I've also edited our playlist. It's workin now. And the affiliates have been moved to the main page. So, yeah, I think that's about all I have to say... And be active, goddamn it! Don't make it look like I'm the only one who doesn't have a life...

Well, the inactive member countdown is on, unfortunately, but I have given those people many chances to return... I'm sorry, but having inactive members may as well not be members at all. If you do actually return to the site and see that your account has been deleted, feel free to rejoin.. and maybe, y'know, be active. That would be great, so.. Anyway, by the end of this month (because we should all be adjusted to school by then), I will be deleting all accounts that have not signed in within the past month. Yes.. being an admin involves those depressing jobs, sorry to say.

Sorry with the frequent updates, but I remembered a few more things to say. There is now a 5-person staff team, in case you didn't notice. There will be no more, unfortunately (even that is a bit too much right now). But those are the people I choose and you better be happy about it. Now, the other thing I wanted to add was.. well, this plot is progressing rather slowly. I mean, I have it all planned out (most of it, anyway), but with the amount of members it isn't goin as fast as it could... Anyway, what I'm tryin to say is, we need mini-plots. You know, just to keep it interestin. So if you have any ideas, post in the rants part of the board. Now, don't be afraid. I'll accept almost anything... Almost...

As you've probably heard, the site is no longer adminless. I would just like to thank Frost and Carn, y'know, trying to keep the site alive. Sorry, but you don't really get an award for that. I know. It's unfortunate. We now have a 4-person staff team, including Eyolf/Terry, the not-so-new member. Any new members/guests... don't be afraid to post in the cbox, even though you have many reasons to be *cough*. Anyway... I've also sent out an activity check... the first one, I might add. I've been trying to improve a few things, so now would be a good time to make suggestions. Staff members, you don't need to ask to modify anything on the site, including making your own

In case you haven't noticed, I have set up both the YOTW and the site playlist... Though no one seems to be overly interested, which is fine. I've also done an OCC RPing board. This, on the other hand, looks to have obtained some interest, which is good. It's summer and all, and when I'm not doin' whatever, I'll have alot of time to improve the site (new skin, in case you haven't noticed that either), and am needing suggestions... really. I don't care what they are, and if you have one, even if it puts down what I've done with the site, TELL ME. Thank you.

Yes... I have decided to start over. There isn't much to say, other than, if you wish to help, you can message me. I will create a thread about it as soon as possible.
Winter has finally come to its end. All snow has dispersed and foliage is in full bloom. The previous yellow grasses are returning to their natural greens colours, while the trees are in the process of recuperation, producing the forests we once knew. With new growth comes new life. Prey, although it may not be much, is rejuvenating in numbers to nourish the wolf population. Expect mostly sunny days, but rain storms are on the rise.
Activity:
Currently, Archon is gathering pack members while trying to keep his old. This isn't working too well for him, however, seeing as his pack has now dwindled to only two members. But as loners continue to wander through, things seem to be looking up for the humble pack. Their high tensions stands in their way, though. If they wish to accept new members, the threesome is going to have to sort out their own problems before they can become a well coordinated and self-sufficient pack.

Guidelines Unfortunately, rules are something found on all RPs. I'm not much of a rule-fan myself, but following them will prevent much hassle from me (which you don't want) and a clean conscience. So, y'know with that in mind, I suggest maybe reading them.

How To... Just as the title implies, this is a How To board, where I - or another member if they wish - will show you how to do various things correctly, or what to do in a particular situation. They can apply to both RPing and other things within the site. Other members, if you have an idea or suggestion for this board, can PM me.
Character Bios Sub-Boards: Pre-Mades Ah, yes. The dreaded character bio. It may not be the most likable thing to write, but it is needed to properly understand your character. Once it's moved to the appropriate approved board, you can begin RPing as you wish, without any hassle. As you can see, I like doing things without hassle.
Approved Characters Sub-boards: Females, Males Once your bio is finished, one of the staff will move it here to one of the appropriate sub-boards. This is how you know that your character has been accepted and you are free to RP afterwords. And please, don't be impatient with this. Staff cannot be on 24/7 and they cannot read at the speed of light, unfortunately for them.
Character Logs Once finished your bio, come here to fill out a character log, where you keep track of your character(s), and everyone else's. Extra tid-bits you may not have known about will also be provided here. And don't worry if you haven't done one of these before. There is a guideline located inside the board and many examples to follow.
Affiliation Although this may not be everyone's favorite board, it is needed to get the word out there and to help other sites as well. You do not have to affiliate, but I would appreciate it if you did. For your own sake, add our banner. If you fail in doing this, I can guarantee your ad will be deleted. And please, if you're affiliating, post in the thread designed to take affiliation requests. And regular ads are acceptable, but not preferred...
Rants - 1 Viewing Suggestions can be good for sites. Some ideas to build on. If you have anything - and I mean anything to suggest or rant about, do so. Plots, skins, staff members... But be mature about this. I do not have this here to hear about how much this site sucks.
Graphics Come here to request, comment and just plain show off any graphics. But, it is a wolf RP. Be sure they're suitable for this sort of board. I'll also hold contests for graphics from time to time to better advertise the site. Showing off drawings is also acceptable here.

OOC Board Sub-Boards: Request A Song, YOTM Sometimes you need a break from RPing to wind down and build up your muse. Anything can be talked about here... Spam it all to hell with talks about fax machines. Write rants about another site... I don't really care. Just as long as it amuses you.

Other RPing When bored, like me, you can come here for your writing needs. There is no limits to what your character can be. Hell, it could be a fish for all I care. What you post here doesn't need to be a RP. It could also be some sort of story you wrote. But please, tell us so. Anyone can create any kind - well, almost any kind - of RP and anyone can RP as they wish. The setting, time, weather, how many characters you RP (which do not need a bio), their ability, plot, when the RP ends - it's all up to you. You can be in more than one RP at a time. But remember, you still have to reply to the RPs for the main plot. Oh, and your post can be as short/long as you wish.
Mount Hora Sub-boards: Magara Cavern Behind what has once been crowds of trees spreads Mount Hora. Its mass is unbelievably huge, not even the cluster of trees can disguise its bulk. Though one should expect nothing less from a mountain titled Hora. The size of the mountain was what had prevented any of the humans further explorations. Therefore, the foliage upon and surrounding the mountain remains untainted. If any are willing, the view from its peak is quite magnificent; after a long day's trek, I'm sure all a creature would wish to see is the humans arsenal reduced to microscopic twigs with the stream of blue between the city, Dunom, and the Outskirts untouched greenery. And let's not forget the setting sun casting its reds and yellows for a background. Not to mention the Mountain Goat and Big Horn Sheep found as prey. A pleasurable change to satisfy most.
Crepen River Sub-boards: Rapids of Riam, Bramham The Crepen River was formed by the mountain we call Mount Hora. Any of the snow, rain, or icecaps that have streamed down the rock's mass were used in the making of this river, therefore it is fairly cool to the touch. This body of water treads through the lands, weaving through the assortment of trees and foliage. It's a rather long river, though, its currents are quite smooth. A flawless area to fish. That is, until one wanders further down stream, where the rapids form. Here, however, is shallow. So shallow, in fact, greenery is unable to grow in the river's bed - which is created by rock and stone fragments. Some stones are quite hefty, seeming like an iceberg - with only half immersed in the river's liquid. If one is careless, they could easily acquire quite an injury.
Open Clarus The Clarus is land that has been clear-cut by the humans' machinery. What they had left behind was disregarded stumps and forgotten imprints of vehicle tires. It spreads for miles, as far as the untrained eye can see. Some may call it depressing - witnessing what had once been a thriving forest reduced to insignificant trunks that no longer serve a purpose on this earth. They truly are a waste of space. But others may only say it's their fate. What a cruel fate, indeed. Replacing the forest, is parched and half-dead grass. If one were to simply walk upon it, they would hear the grasses pathetic attempt at life as it crackled beneath their weight. You can only hope the grass is greener on the other side.
Cavita Throughout this area, holes have been drilled in search for the oil needed to fuel the humans' vehicles. Machinery has also been abandoned in this field. The holes, however, are of much more concern than these disregarded hunks of metal. If one were careless enough, they could easily mange quite an injury. Or perhaps, even fall to their ends within the depths of this drilled dungeon. Once lost in the darkness, the chance of escaping is next to none. You can claw, climb, jump... Any attempt is futile, and will only result negatively. This takes the statement, "Go die in a hole," quite literally.
Verbranden Near the Clarus are the remains of an oil spill gone wrong. Who knows the events that lead to the freak accident, but one can't overlook the result. What was left of the forest was set aflame. Each action has a consequence, some will say. And these humans' careless actions resulted in hefty consequence. Well, for the forest's inhabitants, anyway. In some turn of events, oil was spilled, then lit, burning what ever happened to be in its path. Charred wood, along with scarred earth, are what welcome you here. If you're lucky, you'll see a carcass or two.

Bydan Among the open fields lay two metal buildings. These structures had once served a purpose; to house the humans during work hours, but now they seem to be a bit out of place amongst the pits, metal contraptions, and an otherwise empty field. On these small, metal trailers are construction logos imprinted on a piece of flexible, threaded plastic. For a human, these trailers would be relatively small, but to a wolf, a world of wonders is hidden behind that metal door. Next to these trailers is a porta-potty. Yes, don't we all love those. If one were clever enough, you may even be able to uncover these wonders.
