This message is long overdue, but I'm sure most of you realized that this site is inactive. Sorry to do this, but I just don't see a point anymore. It wasn't even my site to start with and I just don't have the effort to do anything else with it. I ran out of ideas.
So, now that that's outta the way... There've been some good people on here and I don't want to lose contact with you. I'll still come on here from time to time, but if you ever stumble across this site again and want to contact me, you can reach me at my AIM, which is Zydodo, or MSN, which is i_see_stupid_people_1@hotmail
.com. Heh, don't ask.
Anyway, thanks to those who took the time to read this.

Well, the November activity check is now over, and we're now down to 14 members. I dunno what happened to some of the staff, but we should be fine with the 4 of us--Ama, Ria, Carn and myself. As for those who are missing.. well, hopefully nothing has happened to them. On a happier note, it is, of course, December. All the holidays are starting up, so I can understand why the activity may be going down. But I must say, it's on the rise. I'm thinking of a monthly activity check.. or at least one every two months. The next one will probably be after the holidays. Anyway... I also added the 'Open Threads' thing. I'm hoping it will be helpful for newer members. Here's the link: Open Threads. And Ria also gave the idea of having a board for the borders of the pack lands. It'll probably make things easier for newer members, so I'll have to get on that.
Well, that was about all I had to say. Thanks guys for stickin' with me and this site. Happy Holidays.
Regards,
Zylem.

Oh, and almost forgot... HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY CLASH.
Geez, it hardly seems like a year, but believe it or not, it is.

Another monthly update. The recent recession in activity is quite concerning, so.. we're basically starting over.. again.. I'm getting pretty tired of this, but.. *shrug* I dunno what to do with the inactive accounts... Guess we'll just have to wait till the end of the month to delete them in another activity check.. I'll be moving all the threads into the archives... I have deleted the affiliates who have deleted our banner and am advertising again. I dunno what happened to our former staff, but.. I'd like to welcome Ria (AKA Raksha) to the staff team. She's the only one that's still here and is actually helping, so thank you Ria. And any guests reading this.. we welcome you as well. Anyway.. That is pretty much all I have to say. Also, November is a month of remembrance and thanksgiving, so.. just keep that in mind.

Hi. Zylem here with your monthly update. *Shifts eyes* Sorry, just had to say that. Anyway... All inactive accounts have been deleted. All inactive threads have been moved. And I will soon create a Pre-Made character board... I've noticed the recent decline in activity... Especially for those who are supposed to be staff. I understand you have lives and all, but I would rather you at least tell me that you're going to be gone... and maybe that the staff position isn't right for you. New members - please join another thread or organize it so you and another member will have a thread together. I've seen it too many times when a promising member joins, then leaves because no one has replied to their thread. So, just to avoid that, please join another thread. If you're wondering what thread to join, ask in the cbox and someone will surely help you. OH, and I've also edited our playlist. It's workin now. And the affiliates have been moved to the main page. So, yeah, I think that's about all I have to say... And be active, goddamn it! Don't make it look like I'm the only one who doesn't have a life...
Kiddin. Anyway... Regards,

Well, the inactive member countdown is on, unfortunately, but I have given those people many chances to return... I'm sorry, but having inactive members may as well not be members at all. If you do actually return to the site and see that your account has been deleted, feel free to rejoin.. and maybe, y'know, be active. That would be great, so.. Anyway, by the end of this month (because we should all be adjusted to school by then), I will be deleting all accounts that have not signed in within the past month. Yes.. being an admin involves those depressing jobs, sorry to say.
-Tuesday, August 19th 08
Sorry with the frequent updates, but I remembered a few more things to say. There is now a 5-person staff team, in case you didn't notice. There will be no more, unfortunately (even that is a bit too much right now). But those are the people I choose and you better be happy about it. Now, the other thing I wanted to add was.. well, this plot is progressing rather slowly. I mean, I have it all planned out (most of it, anyway), but with the amount of members it isn't goin as fast as it could... Anyway, what I'm tryin to say is, we need mini-plots. You know, just to keep it interestin. So if you have any ideas, post in the rants part of the board. Now, don't be afraid. I'll accept almost anything... Almost...

2008:
As you've probably heard, the site is no longer adminless. I would just like to thank Frost and Carn, y'know, trying to keep the site alive. Sorry, but you don't really get an award for that. I know. It's unfortunate. We now have a 4-person staff team, including Eyolf/Terry, the not-so-new member. Any new members/guests... don't be afraid to post in the cbox, even though you have many reasons to be *cough*. Anyway... I've also sent out an activity check... the first one, I might add. I've been trying to improve a few things, so now would be a good time to make suggestions. Staff members, you don't need to ask to modify anything on the site, including making your own
announcements/
news/etc. But if you're unsure, ask me. Oh, and members, use the OOC board to pass time until... y'know, we get some members back..

2008:
In case you haven't noticed, I have set up both the YOTW and the site playlist... Though no one seems to be overly interested, which is fine. I've also done an OCC RPing board. This, on the other hand, looks to have obtained some interest, which is good. It's summer and all, and when I'm not doin' whatever, I'll have alot of time to improve the site (new skin, in case you haven't noticed that either), and am needing suggestions... really. I don't care what they are, and if you have one, even if it puts down what I've done with the site, TELL ME. Thank you.

2008:
Well... We'll have the YOTW and playlist-thing as soon as I figure out how to get two tables next to each other. Heh.
- Sunday, May 31st
2008:
Okay, well, I've come up with a brilliant idea. We're going to have a YouTube Of The Week (YOTW). Brilliant, isn't it? Yes, I told you it was. And while I'm at it, I'll also add a music playlist-thing. You can find a thread about it in the OOC section as soon as I get to making one.
- Sunday, May 11th:
Yes... I have decided to start over. There isn't much to say, other than, if you wish to help, you can message me. I will create a thread about it as soon as possible.
Winter has finally come to its end. All snow has dispersed and foliage is in full bloom. The previous yellow grasses are returning to their natural greens colours, while the trees are in the process of recuperation, producing the forests we once knew. With new growth comes new life. Prey, although it may not be much, is rejuvenating in numbers to nourish the wolf population. Expect mostly sunny days, but rain storms are on the rise.
Activity:
Currently, Archon is gathering pack members while trying to keep his old. This isn't working too well for him, however, seeing as his pack has now dwindled to only two members. But as loners continue to wander through, things seem to be looking up for the humble pack. Their high tensions stands in their way, though. If they wish to accept new members, the threesome is going to have to sort out their own problems before they can become a well coordinated and self-sufficient pack.
POP STATS:
Current Alpha: Archon Member Count: 2 Current Loners: 4 Pending: 5 TOTAL: 12 wolves

((Ooc: Okay, this is before Leafy meets Cursico in the woods and is apparently going to tell him of his heritage. If Leafy disappears then I'm going to need a time machine)) They were black, black and smelly Yeuch! He didn't like these plants, they were ugly and withered, they never flowered. It only seemed to get worse. The whole place stank, even the holes. One was better than the rest, if only moderately. Its smell was more damp than oily. Inside this den he had claimed was a nice little bubble. A flat floor, fairly sturdy ceiling. A mole popped its head in every now and then, though the ones he had seen scurried back into their holes in an instant. That certainly didn't help his raging curiosity, but the things were impossible to catch, he seemed doomed to just a few glimpses. Cursico stood like a sentry outside his den, his round head bobbing up and down. His den. That meant he was an Alpha, the biggest strongest Alpha in the world! He saw his den, and his territory, Archon would bow to his amazing prowess with the den. Lost in his own world, Cursico howled to all the wolves which were in his pack, on his lands. The game had become very real to him by this point. As he stood, he felt the well-developed muscles of an adult in place of his puppy-fat-riddled body. His wobbly howl was strong and sure, and the land was green with life. Only the strong smell of oil remained, he'd need more than imagination to purge the place of the humans doings. The sun was just coming back up from its slumber, he was upset to see dawn breaking already. He still had to rid the land of the nasty Demon Cougars who had broken out. Everything lost its perfectness as the sun brightened the shadow wolves who had followed him through the dark night. "No!" Cursico cried, feeling his Alpha Status slipping. He jumped forward, and tripped over his huge feet, and everything was gone, he was a chubby no-rank pup again. Cursico whined miserably, lying still on the ground. Stupid reality. His misery lasted a full five minutes before a dusty moth fluttered wildly past, catching his attention. He leapt onto his huge paws and gave chase. He was gonna catch it!

It was gaining fast; that golden orb that occupied the sky every morning. The darkness was already being cast aside to make room for the approaching dawn, which also meant that warmth was on its way. Overhead, the sky was making its daily change. That beautiful palette of pinks, oranges, blues, and purples was being crushed together into that smooth, flat blue. It wasn't long before the clouds whisped into view.
Everything happened so fast that it almost appeared like some sort of movie. It was truly amazing when you took the time to watch it all happen. But it didn't last for very long. Which left Raksha sitting there, nose to the sky, but with nothing else to watch. She had always been more of a night-dweller, but she was much too restless for that now. She let out a small huff before standing on all fours. She would fit another adventure into today. Even though she didn't understand why she was still prancing around on these lands. Something was just keeping her there for some reason. The place actually interested her.
She turned, prepared to go expore some other area of this place, but was quickly interrupted by a surprising sight. It wasn't like a whelp chasing an insect was surprising; she was just surprised to see the scene in a place like this. Listing her head curiously, she headed in his direction, barking lowly to announce her arrival. Hm, pups were always fun.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #2 on Dec 4, 2008, 7:48am »
Cursico strained to grab the moth, but he never quite got close enough to grab it. Even when he was so close that he could feel the air move away from the wings, the moth would suddenly change direction, making the pup trip over his paws and have to race to come close again. Never learning that the moth would just swoop down again each time he got close. Just as he was heading back to the stage where the moth would turn and trip him up, he heard Raksha's bark. He locked his legs and skidded into an ungraceful stop. Moth forgotten, Cursico perked his ears up and faced them at Raksha as if she was the most amazing thing he had ever seen. Not hard to impress a hyper-active pup. "Ooh" He squealed, rump wiggling with excitement. A floppy grin in place, he bounded towards the newcomer. "'Ello dere!" He yipped, rising up onto his hind legs, chubby front paws batting at the air for balance. Not being able to balance even on all four legs, it took three seconds for him to fall backwards in a very undignified heap. Cursico being Cursico, he just found it funny, and rolled over until he was lying down in a near normal fashion.

The bark had managed to serve the exact purpose that Raksha had intended, and that -- of course -- pleased her. The she-wolf watched, full of quiet amusement as she continued to leisurely pad her way in the direction of the pup. A grin swept its way across her muzzle, though she refrained from giving as out right laugh. She wasn't sure if it would offend the young one, not that she normally minded what the effect of her reactions would be, but she had more of a pleasant air about her when dealing with whelps. She had been there once.
Her features didn't maintain a grin for long, her entire face drooped suddenly when realization hit her. Her eyes wavered, from north to south to east to west, and finally back upon the whelp. Why was he alone? Why would any pup be alone, anywhere? This wasn't right, where was his family? Where was anyone...? Certainly if he was a part of this pack they wouldn't have left him alone. A wolf pack was generally much more secure of the youngest generation. His greeting ripped her from her thoughts and she stared back at him as he lay in a lump on the ground. He sure seemed happy enough. She was a mere few feet away when she finally decided to halt, and at that point she returned the pup's greeting with a very simple nod, followed by a slight tilt of her head.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #4 on Dec 6, 2008, 9:25pm »
Cursico cocked his head to the side, his excitement taking a plunge as he realised the wolf had stopped grinning at him. Had he done something wrong? He anxiously thumped his tail on the ground in an awkward apology, head bobbing up and down with confusion. Maybe he wasn't supposed to run up to and older wolf. A respect issue? He hadn't meant to offend her, he just wanted to play, it was almost painful for him to keep still. Even as his excitement ebbed, he was still wriggling on the ground from all the excess energy bundled up inside him.
"Hello... What are you doing here by yourself?"
His excitement levels shot up again. She wasn't angry at him! Even though this was a stranger, it already mattered what she thought. Now more eager to make sure he didn't 'upset' the older wolf, Cursico answered all-too enthusiasticly, not even answering the question but instead explaining what he had been doing. "Well I wus lookin' 'round the place 'n' I found dis 'uge 'ole which I made as my den!" He nodded along to his story, accent randomly changing in the middle from a Cockney slurr to a mildly Yorkshire one. "And I became packleader of all of this. I made everyone happy, they all loved me. There were demon cougars everywhere which I single-handedly defeated." The pup puffed himself up in pride. That would please the big wolf for sure; he'd killed a threat. And that was his answer.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #5 on Dec 8, 2008, 3:26pm »
Being exhausted from her travels, she decided to take a seat in front of the pup, after all, he surely was not a threat to her. Raksha waited patiently, knowing all too well patience was needed above all else when dealing with the very young. Luckily for her the whelp was quick with his words and very eager to chat with her. If it could even be considered chatting. It was more of story-telling and very imaginative at that.
The she wolf felt the need to humor him, but at the same time wanted some questions answered. She was surprisingly concerned about this unfamiliar wolf. At that point she realized that she hadn't asked for a new, nor gave hers before interrogating him.
"Ah? Is that what you were doing? But even a pack-leader has parents, so why aren't you with them?"
She hoped that the answer she recieved wouldn't be some tragic story, which was common of those who were alone.
"I'm sorry for not introducing myself, but my name is Raksha, who might you be?"
There was a slight waver in her focus as she found herself wandering on to a string of other thoughts. She realized how grown she was acting at the moment, which thoroughly amazed her, considering half the time she would be acting just as excitable as the little wolf in front of her.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #6 on Dec 11, 2008, 12:36pm »
When faced with two questions and crippled by a short attention span, you only answered one and forgot about the other. Not surprising he couldn't take in two questions, it was a lucky strike to get a single question properly answered. It was only the first question which stuck in his brain long enough to become an answer. It wasn't something he'd expect to be asked. Did she really just want his parents without caring or him? The though made his eyes go wide and look adorably upset. It would have been worse if not for the Pack Leader mention at the start, he still had his fantasy bubble. A pretty big fantasy bubble! Cursico bobbed his head up and down in a way which looked like a nod, but wasn't definite. "Mums Leafy, but she's nothing special. I'm much betterer than her!" He huffed, adding on a short more defineable nod. That anyone would want Leafy over him... He hadn't even seen her in ages. Even if Raksha asked where Leafy was and he felt inclined to answer, he wouldn't know where to start. He hoped he was only been asked about his elusive mother by mild curiosity. It was his stage and he'd be damned in anyone were to take it, even his (Adoptive) mother. Not realising that his name had just been asked, and he'd been given one, Cursico subtly insisted on a name by saying his. "Names Cursssssico" He purred, then looked expectantly to Raksha, innocently expecting her to say her name after he'd said his.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #7 on Dec 15, 2008, 7:43pm »
It could have been a little bit surprising that Raksha could have tilted her head any further. Her expression seemed mildly confused, but if anything she was simply curious. Feeling as if she wasn't about to get up and go anywhere anytime soon, she allowed for her tail to curl around her haunches. She would pry about the pup for just a little longer if Cursico had the patience to manage; though she doubted it. He was so young after all, even she couldn't be still for too long of a time.
"Well, if she is your mother, I don't understand why you'd say such a mean thing about her. I'm not doubting your specialness, though." Raksha began, followed by a unwavering smile. [/b]"And my name is Raksha. And I hate to plague you with so many questions, but shouldn't you be with your mother? Its not safe for you to be out here all by yourself."[/b] Maybe it was just female instinct, but she actually felt worried about the whelp being out and alone. Especially in a place such as this. And she was certain that he wasn't apart of this pack by now. Though she hoped she was wrong in her assumption.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #8 on Dec 22, 2008, 10:22am »
Thats not fair, I didn't say anything mean, I just told the truth. All this wolf is interested in is her. Cursico scowled, looking every bit the moody toddler. I'm stronger than everybody, I don't need any protection. He shifted on his haunches, contemplating whether or not he should even try to answer. The big wolves always got mad if he said anything mildly degrading. He'd never grow up, big wolves were just too stoopid and old. Answering turned out to be the best thing, otherwise the big wolf would think he couldn't say anything, instead of choosing to say nothing. "I don't want her hovering around, and anyway if you can find her she can keep you safe. You look like you need it." He stuck his tongue out, blowing a hearty raspberry. That would show her, he was sure. Bet she hated the idea of not being safe unless someone else was watching with annoying closeness. In some ways, he thanked Leafy for keeping her distance for a while, and supposed when she reappeared, she would treat him like the strong wolf he deserved to be treated as. Cursico found himself back on his large paws, fluffing himself up like royalty. Yeah, he'd shown her.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #9 on Dec 23, 2008, 2:05pm »
Raksha continued to watch Cursico, a curious expression pulling at her maw. His answer only confused her more, but didn't convince her to leave him alone, not in the least. Instead she continued to sit in her position, hardly shifting at all as she watched his little act of toughness. Of course, she wasn't offended, she knew the way pups acted. She was almost upset with herself for somehow offending him; which seemed to be the case. Besides, she knew she didn't need the protection of someone likely her own age. The protection of an actual pack was the only thing she looked forward to acquiring one day.
"I'm a little old to be followed around by my mother. I'm not trying to offend you pup, but you are young. It's unlikely that your mother would just let you loose on your own, if she was any mother at all."
She kept her calm manner about her, and she doubted Cursico would care about the comment towards his mother. Besides, he seemed too eager to put her down everytime she was mentioned.
"Its only that wolves your age should be a part of a pack, not out here on their own. Wandering around aimlessly should hardly be considered a living. It gets old very quickly.
Re: I own dis den! [Open to peeps] « Reply #10 on Dec 28, 2008, 8:02pm »
His right ear twitched. If Cursico had been in an anime film, a water drop would have appeared somewhere around the top of his head, forehead or on the back depending where the camera was. Big wolves with their big words! But she didn't know how much fun he was having. It didn't get old, why would it get old? He'd never get old so games would never get old, only oldies found things went old. Thats why they were old! He huffed, pleased with his logic. "Leafy will probably appear when I get hungry" The pup confidently told the older wolf, even though he was hungry at that moment it wasn't something he was going to admit, even as he realised it was wrong. Leafy had not come at lunch, he had missed it without noticing. She should have come, but it was too late now. "She doesn't smother me like I see with other pups!" Even though he couldn't remember seeing any other pups. So the web of lies gets that little bit bigger. "I like it out here, I can make up my own aims. If I want to go to that rock, that will be my aim." As if to prove he could, he marched towards the rock, glad he only tripped up once before perching precariously on the soot-smeared lump. "I am my own Alpha, I don't need any Oldie Alpha to lead me!" Cursico bobbed his head up and down again, wobbling.
