This message is long overdue, but I'm sure most of you realized that this site is inactive. Sorry to do this, but I just don't see a point anymore. It wasn't even my site to start with and I just don't have the effort to do anything else with it. I ran out of ideas.
So, now that that's outta the way... There've been some good people on here and I don't want to lose contact with you. I'll still come on here from time to time, but if you ever stumble across this site again and want to contact me, you can reach me at my AIM, which is Zydodo, or MSN, which is i_see_stupid_people_1@hotmail
.com. Heh, don't ask.
Anyway, thanks to those who took the time to read this.

Well, the November activity check is now over, and we're now down to 14 members. I dunno what happened to some of the staff, but we should be fine with the 4 of us--Ama, Ria, Carn and myself. As for those who are missing.. well, hopefully nothing has happened to them. On a happier note, it is, of course, December. All the holidays are starting up, so I can understand why the activity may be going down. But I must say, it's on the rise. I'm thinking of a monthly activity check.. or at least one every two months. The next one will probably be after the holidays. Anyway... I also added the 'Open Threads' thing. I'm hoping it will be helpful for newer members. Here's the link: Open Threads. And Ria also gave the idea of having a board for the borders of the pack lands. It'll probably make things easier for newer members, so I'll have to get on that.
Well, that was about all I had to say. Thanks guys for stickin' with me and this site. Happy Holidays.
Regards,
Zylem.

Oh, and almost forgot... HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY CLASH.
Geez, it hardly seems like a year, but believe it or not, it is.

Another monthly update. The recent recession in activity is quite concerning, so.. we're basically starting over.. again.. I'm getting pretty tired of this, but.. *shrug* I dunno what to do with the inactive accounts... Guess we'll just have to wait till the end of the month to delete them in another activity check.. I'll be moving all the threads into the archives... I have deleted the affiliates who have deleted our banner and am advertising again. I dunno what happened to our former staff, but.. I'd like to welcome Ria (AKA Raksha) to the staff team. She's the only one that's still here and is actually helping, so thank you Ria. And any guests reading this.. we welcome you as well. Anyway.. That is pretty much all I have to say. Also, November is a month of remembrance and thanksgiving, so.. just keep that in mind.
Regards,

Hi. Zylem here with your monthly update. *Shifts eyes* Sorry, just had to say that. Anyway... All inactive accounts have been deleted. All inactive threads have been moved. And I will soon create a Pre-Made character board... I've noticed the recent decline in activity... Especially for those who are supposed to be staff. I understand you have lives and all, but I would rather you at least tell me that you're going to be gone... and maybe that the staff position isn't right for you. New members - please join another thread or organize it so you and another member will have a thread together. I've seen it too many times when a promising member joins, then leaves because no one has replied to their thread. So, just to avoid that, please join another thread. If you're wondering what thread to join, ask in the cbox and someone will surely help you. OH, and I've also edited our playlist. It's workin now. And the affiliates have been moved to the main page. So, yeah, I think that's about all I have to say... And be active, goddamn it! Don't make it look like I'm the only one who doesn't have a life...
Kiddin. Anyway... Regards,

Well, the inactive member countdown is on, unfortunately, but I have given those people many chances to return... I'm sorry, but having inactive members may as well not be members at all. If you do actually return to the site and see that your account has been deleted, feel free to rejoin.. and maybe, y'know, be active. That would be great, so.. Anyway, by the end of this month (because we should all be adjusted to school by then), I will be deleting all accounts that have not signed in within the past month. Yes.. being an admin involves those depressing jobs, sorry to say.
-Tuesday, August 19th 08
Sorry with the frequent updates, but I remembered a few more things to say. There is now a 5-person staff team, in case you didn't notice. There will be no more, unfortunately (even that is a bit too much right now). But those are the people I choose and you better be happy about it. Now, the other thing I wanted to add was.. well, this plot is progressing rather slowly. I mean, I have it all planned out (most of it, anyway), but with the amount of members it isn't goin as fast as it could... Anyway, what I'm tryin to say is, we need mini-plots. You know, just to keep it interestin. So if you have any ideas, post in the rants part of the board. Now, don't be afraid. I'll accept almost anything... Almost...

2008:
As you've probably heard, the site is no longer adminless. I would just like to thank Frost and Carn, y'know, trying to keep the site alive. Sorry, but you don't really get an award for that. I know. It's unfortunate. We now have a 4-person staff team, including Eyolf/Terry, the not-so-new member. Any new members/guests... don't be afraid to post in the cbox, even though you have many reasons to be *cough*. Anyway... I've also sent out an activity check... the first one, I might add. I've been trying to improve a few things, so now would be a good time to make suggestions. Staff members, you don't need to ask to modify anything on the site, including making your own
announcements/
news/etc. But if you're unsure, ask me. Oh, and members, use the OOC board to pass time until... y'know, we get some members back..

In case you haven't noticed, I have set up both the YOTW and the site playlist... Though no one seems to be overly interested, which is fine. I've also done an OCC RPing board. This, on the other hand, looks to have obtained some interest, which is good. It's summer and all, and when I'm not doin' whatever, I'll have alot of time to improve the site (new skin, in case you haven't noticed that either), and am needing suggestions... really. I don't care what they are, and if you have one, even if it puts down what I've done with the site, TELL ME. Thank you.

Well... We'll have the YOTW and playlist-thing as soon as I figure out how to get two tables next to each other. Heh.

2008:
Okay, well, I've come up with a brilliant idea. We're going to have a YouTube Of The Week (YOTW). Brilliant, isn't it? Yes, I told you it was. And while I'm at it, I'll also add a music playlist-thing. You can find a thread about it in the OOC section as soon as I get to making one.
- Sunday, May 11th:
Yes... I have decided to start over. There isn't much to say, other than, if you wish to help, you can message me. I will create a thread about it as soon as possible.
Winter has finally come to its end. All snow has dispersed and foliage is in full bloom. The previous yellow grasses are returning to their natural greens colours, while the trees are in the process of recuperation, producing the forests we once knew. With new growth comes new life. Prey, although it may not be much, is rejuvenating in numbers to nourish the wolf population. Expect mostly sunny days, but rain storms are on the rise.
Activity:
Currently, Archon is gathering pack members while trying to keep his old. This isn't working too well for him, however, seeing as his pack has now dwindled to only two members. But as loners continue to wander through, things seem to be looking up for the humble pack. Their high tensions stands in their way, though. If they wish to accept new members, the threesome is going to have to sort out their own problems before they can become a well coordinated and self-sufficient pack.

Bic: Eyolf's winter hadn't been horrible, but she would definitely not mourn the end of it. Since she was a smaller wolf, she required less food and therefore having less food around wasn't quite so traumatizing. Her breakfast had consisted of a small marsh rabbit and some berries from a bush she had found by the waterside, and she felt content, if not, full, lazily prodding the edge of the river where, due to the slow current, ice had formed.
Eyolf wasn't particularly one to stay in one place very long, but she had scented other wolves here before and wanted to meet some and, if possible, join whatever pack they belonged to. So she contented herself with lazily lying in the meager sunlight and prodding at the ice on the riverbank. Occasionally, a fish would flash under the ice, causing Eyolf to rush her paw in the cold water, scattering droplets into the air, effectively forcing the fish to land on the ground, more often than not.
The fish weren't large, but they were rich in their distinct, if albeit odd, flavor.

Frost growled in her sleep, memories beginning to take over what was once a peaceful, innocent dream. She could see her mothers eyes flash with anger at the fact that the wolf that was supposed to be her mate had chosen her daughter instead of her. Frost's mother never loved her, never even cared. She was forced to learn on her own two paws as if she was born without parnets. She had always felt so alone until she had met sirus.
The battle was rediculous. Frost, a wolf of few words fighting over a mate with her own mom. She was ashamed really, but why should her mom tear her away from who she loved? turns out her mother won and she was forced out of the pack with a scared body and a heart heavy as stone.
Golden eyes flickered open as Frost raised her head and parted her maw to yawn. Were was she exactly? She had no idea. " Might as well get up and find out.. she thought. Rising to her paws she sensed the precance of another almost immedietly and the hair on her hackels began to rise. From the corner of her eye she saw a redish looking wolf bolt across the near frozen river after what appeared to be a fish. Frost admired her teachnique and would have gon off to greet her , but what wolf approached another so suddenly? Instead Frost stayed were she was and sat, wrapping her tail around her paws neatly to protect them from the cold.

Eyolf was pleasantly nomming of her fish, her tail lazily flicking up and down, when the wind changed, bringing a scent that was familiar, yet different. It was a wolf scent, delicately feminine, but something was different. Eyolf gave a slight shrug, finishing her fish by licking it a few times and casting it off back into the water.
Carefully standing up and stretching, Eyolf addressed the other wolf, a smile in her voice. "So, what brings you here at a time like this?" She turned and gave a mischievous smile, "You missed getting in on the meal."
With that offhand acknowledgment of knowing she had been there, Eyolf fairly pranced to the other she-wolf, her tail and demeanor as that of one wolf addressing another wolf of the same rank. "So, what do they call you?"

Frost watched as the femme devored her meal and had thoughts of leaving to explore the area she was in. Frost picked up her snow covered paws as if she was about to leave when she heard the other wolf speak. ' So what brings you here at a time like this?' She spoke, addressing the question to her. obviously the wolfess had known that Frost had been were she was from the moment she came into her sight, or so she thought.
The wolf spoke once again, but Frost ignored. Instead of trotting off she kept her paws planted were they were and continued to stare, still unsure of the fact that this wolf was sane or not. She had a hard time trusting wolves of any size, shape, or color. It didn't matter to her whether they looked like they couldn't harm a fly she still found it hard to trust.
The lupin began edging her way toward her and showed by the way that she carried herself that she thought of Frost as an equal. Still, Frost raised her guard. " My name is Frost " ,she stated quite plainly, " Who are you? "

Eyolf put on a small pout when the other wolf didn't seem to soften to her. How very much like her namesake, Eyolf thought, giggling a little. "Well, I'm called Eyolf." She said in her usual cheery tone. "What brings you to these parts?" The question was mainly just asked to keep her where she was. Eyolf had become sick of herself and wanted social interaction before she threw herself into the river. Though she smiled brightly, the shine didn't quite reach her eyes. Her cheery tones were a little forced, though one would only notice if they were searching for it.
Eyolf sat back on her haunches, relaxing but still keeping alert enough to ward off any unwanted belief of too much familiarity. "I'm just sorta following the food." She said with a giggle.
Truth be told, Eyolf had actually been hovering around the border of a pack's territory. She was a little too nervous to try meeting whoever actually lived there, so she was biding her time until she was found by a member of the pack. Though this 'Frost' wasn't the pack member she was looking to find, she was still another wolven contact. It was a start, albeit a small one.

Noticing the wolf's pout Frost lossened up a little bit. Maybe she didn't have to worry about this wolf to much. However looks could be deciveing and she knew from experiance. " Well Eyolf, It s nice to meet you " she spoke quite clearly. Frost being herself would have no problem being alone for awhile and would normally avoid whatever contact with others whenever possible, But she too had been feeling a need to socialize. It had been awhile since she had run into Sylph and Carnage, Let alone Archon.
She thought maybe it would be good to talk to Eyolf for awhile then go on her way. [color=white]" Well I guess i came here during the night and fell asleep. I awoke for reasons im unsure of."
Frost took a look around and inhalded slightly to maybe solve where he was to maybe solve the puzzle of ' where she might be'. She soon realized that sure enough she was on a pack border. "What brings you here ?" She asked ,now turning her golden gaze to Eyolf. A pack meant an alpha and the only alpha she had met so far was Archon. Perheps she might run into him by some chance.

Eyolf gave an over dramatized bow, placing one paw before herself with the other crossed behind, speaking oh-so-properly, "The pleasure is all but mine, dear Frost, for yours must pale in comparison to the brilliance of mine." As Eyolf rose from her bow, she gave a conspiratorial grin to her newfound entertainment. Oh, yes, she could be quite the jester.
Eyolf nodded at Frosts explanation and grinned. "Ah, but it must be the sunlight- bleak though it may be, see how it shines regardless, so! Even the very sight of it has me excited. Or, I suppose, the lack of snow-heavy clouds to cover our little sun. Spring is coming upon us, I can feel it in my very being!" As she spoke, Eyolf became animated, finding herself sucked into her role of a cheery little thing.
Eyolf knew what Frost was asking, but was rather reluctant to answer. It would be rather embarrassing to explain her yearning for a pack to a wolf that was obviously comfortable being a loner, so she opted to be painfully literal. "Well, my paws brought me here," she said taking a few steps, "And momentum brought me here," she said, mid-jump, "...and, alas, inertia brought me here." she finished rather lamely from her semi-crashed position on the ground.

Frost was puzzled by Eyolf's exaggerated behavior. It wasn't as if Frost was royality or something. Hell she was anything but royalty. She continued to speak and Frost's head began to buzz as the wolfess became excited for no apparent reason eccept for the fact that it was spring. True, spring was a wonderful time when life returned to the land and when food returned, but why get this excited about it. Maybe it was Frost just being her boring old self. Yes, Maybe.. she managed to get in when Eyolf paused for a moment, and then continued to answer her next question.
The answer she recived wasn't exactly what she had expected. She was looking forward to something like ' oh i came for the fish!' or ' i just like it here ' but what she got was short explanation on how her mind and body seemed to work.
" What i meant was, do you have a reason for being here?" Frost spoke, a little aggravated yet soothed by the company of this hyperactive red wolf.

Eyolf got up from her crashed position on the ground and shook herself, detaching the dust and dirt that had decided to cling to her pelt. That being accomplished, the small wolf was obliged to, with a little 'humph' point out that it didn't kill one to be a little more fantastical, a pinch more cheery, and a tad more companionable.
Since this Frost person seemed to have become annoyed at her for evading the actual question, Eyolf calmed slightly, keeping from growling at her with mild effort and complete success. I'm getting better at this, Eyolf thought with satisfaction. Thinking rather quickly, Eyolf pointed her nose in the direction of the river. "I'm following the river. It has a good supply of food, even in winter. At least, it does in the parts that aren't frozen over, but in a fast moving river like this, freezing doesn't happen much at all. The rapids aren't any good, but the river is still really big." It wasn't a complete lie. It just wasn't all of the truth, but this Frost wolf needn't know that.

Frost nodded in a approval to Eyolf's reasoning. The fish, as well as prey animals searching for a drink, was quite abundant this time of year. Well Frost herself hadn't exactlly told Eyolf the truth about being here. She wasn't here for the fish, or for the fact that she had fallen sleep on 'accendent'. She was going to join the fight to replenish the land and join the pack that lie just over the boarder line. Ever since she had run into Archon she had pondered on whether to help this land or move on, even before then acctually. The sight of it looking so dead and pathetic made her wonder. It was true, she was better off as a lone wolf, but Frost just couldn't watch this land die. There was something about it that she couldn't stand to see fade away, and so she was going to join Archons pack and try to help the land florish again. would she leave once that had been accomplished? perhaps.
Thinking she had been her for long enough, she nodded to the young wolfess and spoke. " Well i am needed somewere. It was a pleasure meeting you Eyolf. I hope we meet again" she said well thinking the femme may possibly follow.
Frost bowed her head to Eyolf slightly so signify her good-bye and picked up her paws to move forward toward the future ahead of her. She couldn't help but look back at Eyolf. She had somewhat enjoyed her company.

Eyolf nodded a fare the well to Frost as she left. Speaking of being needed somewhere, the she-wolf thought to herself, shouldn't you be doing something, too? A thought hit the small female, though, sending her after the other wolf. Once she was again in speaking distance, she called, "Where do you have to go?"
Eyolf hadn't actually processed how young she had sounded until the words had left her maw. Her ears flicked backward as embarrassment rushed over them, her maw forming a small sheepish smile that, though she had intended to be an apology for bothering her, ended up looking like a silent 'can I come too?'.
Ooc: Sorry for the crappy post. Most of your post was thought and stuff that Eyolf can't really react to, and furthering the story at this point has a lot to do with what your character does, and since I'm not going to powerplay, it's hard to say much of anything.

Frost turned her head noticing that Eyolf had said nothing as far as a good-bye and continued walking. She crossed the border into packland and heard eyolf's somewhat youthful voice echo from behind. She turned once again to face the small wolf as she gave her a sheepish smile that made it look like she was asking to come with her. " I wasn't intirely truthful with you, but im going to join this pack. " she said through soft words. Maybe Eyolf had the same thing in mind?
Frost waited to see what her reply would be. Her tail wagged slightly at the tip as her golden orbs observed the land around her, taking a last glimpse. Her ears stood pearched on the top of her head just incase she heard another wolf. After all she was in a packs land and she'd be dead if she was caught, even though she had some sort of reason for being there.
Frost noticed Eyolf's embarassed expression after she had spoke and Frost couldn't help but smile. She found it to be a little bit funny. Why? even She didn't know. Maybe it was because she hadnt smiled in so long and she just needed a reason to. " Do you want to come with me, Eyolf?" the words spilled from her maw. Well she wanted to know so she asked.

Eyolf allowed her face to childishly brighten at Frost's amendment. "You're going to join the pack, too? We really think alike!" A bubbly giggle escaped from her maw.
Eyolf looked around, wondering why Frost was heading into the territory. If they wanted to join the pack, wouldn't it be wiser to howl near the border, and wait for a pack member to take them to the alpha? Unless, of course, Frost was already acquainted with the alpha. Then maybe she could go into the territory uninvited, but it was a stretch on the hospitality of the resident wolves.
"Do you want to come with me, Eyolf?" Eyolf nodded vigorously, at Frost's question. She smiled, asking, "Ne, we're gonna be able to be pack mates now! Isn't this exciting?" Eyolf jumped around in a happy circle around her new friend.
