Type: Gray wolf.
Personality: Silias is the type of wolf that will keep from asking a question so as not to disturb you. He has a habit of being unnoticed. The poor wolf is constantly being taken advantage of due to his painfully polite personality. He is usually aware of when he is being taken advantage of, but he chooses not to confront the wolf doing so, so as to avoid a conflict. His habit of not being noticed comes from his tendency to silence. It’s not that he particularly likes silence; it’s just that he generally believes that is what is expected of him. Silias behaves like an omega, showing respect to all, though he doesn’t actually need to. He sees it as his method of avoiding making enemies. And avoids he does. Most wolves either consider Silias a lackey, a friend, or that quiet guy they always see but can’t actually remember hearing.
Silias is fine with being walked all over. If he had wanted power, he would have left in hopes of a better life years ago. Silias had remained with Archon, doing as he was bid, and was relatively happy. Silias’ mild personality is really a defense mechanism of sorts. Silias is actually smart, though. An intelligent wolf would gladly use him as a council. Though a pacifist, he does know the best way to win a fight, the most effective way to kill, the most painful place to bite, all without touching his prey.
History: Silias was born the son of Archon’s alpha when Archon wasn’t alpha, but he was never expected to lead the pack. Silias was too mild, to…nice. He was compassionate to all as a pup, even mourning the prey the pack hunted to eat. Silias never would really have the mettle to lead himself alone, not to mention an entire group of wolves. So, the pup was virtually ignored by his father, and fed by his mother only because letting the milk dry up would take longer.
Silias knew Archon growing up, but never actually got to know him. He had always wanted to, but he didn’t want to put a target on himself by cavorting with the pack’s pariah. It hadn’t been Archon’s fault that his mother had been force bred. It wasn’t his mother’s either. Silias’ heart bled for him, but he did so silently, helping Archon when it wouldn’t be noticed, so subtly that Archon himself didn’t realize it. Silias quietly tortured Archon’s worst bullies; usually driving them to insanity without them actually realizing it was Silias who was doing it.
Though Silias acts as Archon’s silent protector, he isn’t particularly attached to him any longer. The pup he had protected had turned sharper, meaner, and devoid of compassion. Silias couldn’t help but feel the tiniest prick of anger at the fact that Archon could do to others what was done to him so hatefully, but again, he never has shown it. If Archon were to ask him to do something, Silias would do it. He is and always will remain a loyal wolf to whoever he finds himself under.
Health: No noticable scars, no wounds... Silias is fairly healthy.
